Signicast can handle all your casting requirements, from simple to complex. Medium or high volume. Jobs you’ve been told “can’t be done.” We continuously adapt to what the customer wants. Our responsibility is to make any component work within the framework of our manufacturing plants.

Our Hartford facility is the most advanced of its kind in the world. Here you will find digital and robotic automation that was designed and implemented in house by our people. Accelerated production, plus a significant increase in casting quality, are the result of unconventional thinking that has yet to be imitated by any competitor.

In terms of quality, only a handful of the world’s investment casters come close to Signicast. Manufacturing throughput of less than one week is a Signicast exclusive. Continuous Flow Manufacturing (CFM) has revolutionized this industry, and Signicast literally and profoundly reinvented the process.

Automated manufacturing systems, incorporating robotics, eliminate material handling waste. These systems are controlled by a central computer. The computer monitors the process on a real-time basis – 24 hours a day, seven days a week – ensuring our schedules remain 100% on time. Delivery of your job, therefore, can be faster than at any other investment caster.

Our Milwaukee facility specializes in complex and larger-sized components. It is an integral part of Signicast’s success in serving our broad range of customers. This ever-evolving plant grows in efficiency every year as we adapt new automated processes.

Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing eliminates costly inventory by enabling you to receive small quantities of product, delivered frequently, according to your schedule. Many customers simply give us their production schedules and we develop a delivery program to accommodate their work flow. Flexibility is critical to our success with JIT, and we are equipped to handle radical shifts in output when you are faced with unexpected spikes in demand for your product.

Technical service is a priority at Signicast. Early supplier involvement means Signicast’s in-house technical staff and CAD/CAM capabilities are available to help you, at your site, during the formative stage of product design. We’ll improve the way your existing component is produced, even if it was previously manufactured by another cast process.

Secondary CNC machining, preformed in house, provides single-source responsibility, allowing greater control over quality, delivery and cost. Plating, painting, even assembly, can be included in our process.

Statistical Process Control (SPC), detailed shop instructions, and a highly trained and motivated work force ensure part consistency and quality.
